Mischa Barton, that young darlin' from The O.C., was powdering her nose in a glitzy 'n' gossip-grimy loo when her gracious amiga invited her out for a cigarette date. M.B. looked like it was about effin' time someone offered the newly turned 18-year-old a drag or two. But then, oh so suddenly concerned about all those ears in the stalls, M.B. blurted out, "I mean, I don't smoke--really. My dad's, like, a chronic smoker." Then she whispered, "But I'll go out for a smoke." Oh, girl, I did that dance for years. Wake me when you're fag free

 Mischa tümmelt sich im Nachtleben, wer weiß ob's wahr ist lol

Abgesehen von dem was ich in die News gepostet hab, hab ich noch das entdeckt:

BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE JUNE/JULY TEEN VOGUE SHOOT
Teen Vogue
May 2004

Who: Mischa Barton.
Where: A rundown skate park in Malibu, California.
Lime light: Mischa arrived in a pistachio sweater with elbow patches and a pink-on-pink houndstooth skirt, both from Alice and Olivia. She carried her trademark green quilted Chanel bag.
Coffee break: The TV starlet swung by Starbucks on her way to the shoot.
Fan club: Mischa played Jet's Get Born all day long, and knew every word to every song.
School's out: Since filming wrapped on April 15, The O.C. actress's summer plans include traveling or taking on a movie role—as long as the part is very different from Marissa.
The theme of the shoot was going to be "great summer dresses," but the look evolved to "1930s meets skater" after the location was found. The inspiration became Dogtown and Z-Boys, the 2001 documentary following the rise of skateboarding in 1970s California. Mischa's blend of glamour and grunge was achieved by mixing pearls, bows, sequins, and yellow gold with vintage tees and Etnies sneakers. Most of the boys—ages 4 to 14—were actual skateboarders dressed up in vintage clothes for the shoot. In addition to salads and curried chicken, the buffet table included peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cake for the kids. Mischa drank a coke with lunch, but what she really craved was a Red Bull. The crew described Mischa as "well-spoken and professional," but she still had fun goofing around with the kids on set.

Celebrity endorsement is a tradition as old as the Hollywood hills and almost as much a feature of the Tinseltown landscape. It's no surprise, therefore, to see the celebrities out for a new all-star campaign – but this time it's for a good cause. No doubt spurred on by the scary bits in The Day After Tomorrow, actors including Kevin Bacon, Orlando Bloom, and Joshua Jackson have lined up to explain that global warming is "not cool". (Oh, the wit. These guys could work for Empire)

The new campaign will endeavour to explain to Americans why driving seven-seat multi-terrain vehicles fifty yards to the grocers is not the way to ensure a healthy planet. While we suspect that a few posters aren't going to do it, it's nice to see someone give a good cause the old college try. From TV-land, The West Wing's Bradley Whitford joins the line up with his wife Jane Kaczmarek, star of comedy show Malcolm in the Middle, and newcomer Mischa Barton from The O.C.

There are some inspired lines in here. We're particularly fond of the Kevin Bacon poster, which informs us "Six degrees can make a world of difference". Geddit? Six degrees? Kevin Bacon? Ah, we give up. You can check out the full gallery here. While the action needed to arrest this global threat may take more than some buff types in vests, the message here is clear and simple. Just say no to climate change kids! You heard it here first.
